A Lover's Sonnet

Long have I been waiting for a mere chance

Between the stars, planets, and the moonlight

Safe galaxy in which we are to dance

But finding not a place in time we might

Darling they say when you gaze to the void

The void will always be gazing to you

But why is it when I gazed to the void

The vast void still sent me back to you too

Not a place in limbo, hell, nor heaven

Can we dance to our very heart's content

Not a time in future, past, nor present

Can we vow to the holy sacrament

But there is not a single heart to blame

For my heart belongs only to your name
